Trilby Tour Regional Championships 2010: Rockliffe Hall 30 June 2011

Durham Championship: Rockliffe Hall - 30 June 2011 ENTRY FULL

Rockliffe Hall will hold the northern Trilby Tour 2011 Championship of Durham within its magnificent grounds. Designed by award winning course architect Marc Westenborg, Hawtree Ltd, the course is one of the longest and most challenging courses in European golf.

Rockliffe Hall is the newest and most exciting hotel resort to open in the North of England. Set on a magnificent restored 18th century estate on the banks of the River Tees, it is a destination in itself and a five star home-from-home.

Rockliffe Hall's state-of-the-art spa, world-class golf course, well-equipped meeting rooms, three restaurants and sublime service ensure it is the perfect place to escape and relax, to do business, and to create memories that will linger on.

The Course
The championship golf course at Rockliffe Hall, with its outstanding clubhouse, is already tipped as a future Ryder Cup venue and one of the most talked about courses in the North East.

Designed by award winning course architect Marc Westenborg, Hawtree Ltd, the course is one of the longest and most challenging courses in European golf. Whilst designed to give tour professionals a true test, the five individually designed tee positions allow players of all abilities the chance to enjoy a quite an unforgettable golfing experience.

Encased in 375 acres of stunning countryside and situated on the banks of the river Tees, the course has been created with the environment in mind, introducing three new lakes and eight beautiful reed beds which fit seamlessly into the County Durham countryside. Golfers can enjoy an enhanced playing experience which also includes an iconic clubhouse offering luxurious changing facilities, spike bar and lounge with panoramic views over the course.

Accommodation
Bedrooms should be about relaxing. Rockliffe Hall's 61 bedrooms are big on space, big on comfort, and big on little luxuries; from the King-size and Super Kingsize beds to the 'Tile TVs' in the bathrooms, even the twin rooms have double beds.

Old Hall bedrooms have an understated elegance, mixing fresh colours and modern chandeliers with classic furnishings and soft carpets.

New Hall bedrooms, most with patio or balcony, have a contemporary, clean-lined look with big headboards, modish colours and bold table lamps. Bathrooms in both are crisp, modern and spacious.

And we've further choices. Tiplady Lodge, stepping distance from the Old Hall but screened by trees, offers contemporary-styled rooms with the ultimate privacy while, for a luxury home-from-home, Armstrong House's one and two-bedroom apartments give the ultimate freedom. We also have two luxury 4-bedroom cottages which are ideal for larger groups to enjoy.
